Krhyi'liac sport fans are in awe of the amazing performance of the competing teams at the final match of the Slaw'flel Grand Tournament, which ended yesterday with a absolutely shocking score.
The Krhyi'liac Starship Administration is happy to announce the Krhyi'liac Peacekeeper Force Fyrill'liac (translating to Human language as "fire boat of the home world) to be the first Krhyi'liac ship to be retrofitted with a Federation warp drive. For those unaware, prior to our acceptance, the Krhyi'liac were capable of achieving no more than the Federation classification Warp Factor 4. Now, however, the integration of Federation Warp technology is becoming widespread, and the market for such is expected to sky rocket to such a level that the Krhyi'liac Trade Administration is putting into effect strict regulation, to keep the capitalist Human markets from becoming more prevalent then native industry. Starfleet Military Police and Krhyi'liac Peacekeeping Forces jointly announced earlier this morning the apprehending of the outlaw Johnathan Carter, whom, for those unaware, shot and killed seven Starfleet maintenance workers and stole a shuttle to escape onto Cera'phis II (a Krhyi'liac colony founded before joining the Federation.) From there, he was chased over the course of two Earth days (a few Krhyi'liac hours less than two days, Cera'phis equivalent to three-and-a-half days.) Krhyi'liac pop fans everywhere will wake up this morning with the loss of one of their largest idols missing from their morning radio alarm clock. At 13:45 three nights ago, pop singer Shkri'lziosc died of blood loss after a cable broke loose mid-concert and Shkri'lziosc plunged to the stage below. She broke numerous bones, primarily in her abdomen and three of her legs. According to doctors, she could have survived the affair if rapid-response had been placed on scene was intended, but in here typical fashion, she refused to have any on-site as a statement of her "individuality." The funeral information, and her final album, can both be found here. I shall make it very clear, before I even start, the caste system is not a forced thing. Although the individual does not choose to come into a particular caste, they have a wide range of jobs available to them when they grow up regardless. No one dislikes the caste they are in within society at large, for it is hard-wired into our genetics. To put it in a system way that a human, such as you yourself are most likely, there are three castes in Krhyi'liac biology. Note that I call it "castes in biology" and not "castes in society". Although it affects society significantly, we have no possible way to do away with it even if we wanted to. Earlier this evening, the High Queen made gave her blessing to the 536 Worker and 397 Warrior volunteers, who desire to enter Starfleet service as our first contribution to the organization. A specific list may be found in the Starfleet Recruition Records. For those of you among us who are not Krhyi'liacs or Krhyi'liacian, I shall elaborate some on the precise roles of these castes in military. As one may guess, Warriors tend to do high-risk jobs, like combat, maintaining warp engines, non-routine on-planet missions, etc. Today marks the end of the long arguments about the Imperium's admittance into the United Federation of Planets and the beginning of a new era of prosperity and expanse for our people. For those not aware at the moment, the Federation has been taking much time in deciding whether-or-not to allow the Krhyi'liac as to join the Federation under the reasoning of the quasi-caste system among us, but we are happy to say the disagreement is over. The verdict of allowing our great people's entrance was very directly set-so but the Starfleet captain who made first contact and talked personally with the High Queen, something not many of us can boast. This human settled the debate through the backing the point of both the caste system being a biologic trait and the various classes still having choice-of-profession (despite our Queens still place our place of work, which was the most substantial counter-argument.) |
